how many of us are insane?

definition of insanity

They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

How many of us eat the same food and do the same day-to-day habits, and complain about not losing weight?

How many of us keep dating the same type of people who aren’t good for us and wonder why we can’t find a fulfilling relationship?

How many of us keep asking ourselves the same fundamental questions and wonder why we are plagued with worry and anxiety?

If it is true that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, how many of us fit the definition for being insane?

The truth is, insanity isn’t always dramatic.

Sometimes, it looks like quiet repetition.

So here’s a better question:

What needs to change—just slightly—so I stop repeating what no longer works?
